- Attending this fair represents an opportunity to create new international business links. It is also an occasion to attract new investors to Poznań and as a consequence to create new jobs for the residents - says Bartosz Guss, the deputy mayor of Poznań. - In previous years, almost 50 properties were sold at a profit, for nearly half a billion PLN. All of these areas were previously promoted at MIPIM. For the City's budget, this represents new investments in health care, education, or greenery, to the benefit of the residents.

The fair offers cities and regions a unique opportunity to present their real estate to an average of more than 6,000 investors, coming from 90 countries. Poznań's presence at MIPIM is an important and positive signal for business that the city is developing excellently and that there is a climate conducive to new investments.

This year, the City will present 17 properties. Among them are both offers already announced for sale and those planned for sale, but not yet announced. Most of them are undeveloped plots in excellent locations, with convenient access to public transport, surrounded by developed infrastructures or exit routes from Poznań. Another advantage is the location of many properties in areas where zoning plans are in force.

The largest number, as many as 12 properties, are planned for residential and services development. They are located at:

  1. Bukowska Street
  2. 51 Dąbrowskiego Street
  3. Dąbrowskiego Street and Polna Street
  4. 6 Gąsiorowskich Street
  5. 7 and 7a Golęcińska Street
  6. Janickiego Street and św. Wawrzyńca Street
  7. 13 and 15 Kajki Street
  8. Mieleszyńska Street
  9. Roosevelt Street, so-called "Dziura toruńska"
  10. 89 Ugory Street and 95 Ugory Street
  11. Unii Lubelskiej Street
  12. Urbanowska Street and Drzymały Street

Investors from the industrial, logistics, and service sectors may be interested in the following areas:

  1. Energetyczna Street
  2. Obodrzycka, Sarbinowska and Garaszewo Streets
  3. Hetmańska Street and Górecka Street
  4. Rataje roundabout

The only property not to be sold, but to be rented or leased, is located at the Chojnicka Street. The future developer is to ensure that the site will remain a publicly accessible green space for sport and recreation.

Furthermore, the City will promote plots of land where non-public car parks can be created. These are the areas between Obodrzycka, Sarbinowska, and Garaszewo Streets.

Poznań will also promote a project for underground cubature car parks in Śródka, rynek Wildecki, and plac Wielkopolski. These areas are currently used as marketplaces or sports fields. The City plans to maintain the current use of the on-the-ground part of these areas.

Poznań's presentation will be supported by the partners of the stand - the companies who develop their projects in the city, namely: APP, BPI Real Estate Poland, Cordia, Duda Development, Echo Investment, Garvest Real Estate, Pekabex, Probuild, MTP Group, WPiP.

Poland will also be represented by: Warsaw, Katowice, Kraków, Łódź, and Wrocław, as well as the Tricity, the Upper Silesian Metropolis, and Silesia.

Many panel discussions and networking sessions will be held with important keynote speakers and participants coming from Germany, the UK, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, and Canada, and many more. At Kyiv's stand, there will be meetings held to express solidarity with the Ukrainian nation and discuss the reconstruction of Ukraine after the war.

The MIPIM agenda will also include the award ceremony of the independent ranking fDi Intelligence: European Cities and Regions of the Future 2024. In the "business friendliness" category, Poznań was ranked 2nd, and 7th overall. You can read more about it at poznan.pl.

- These, as well as many other awards and titles highlight Poznań's strong position as an important business center in Central and Eastern Europe. For many years, the City has been successfully attracting new investors but also supporting the investors who develop their plants in Poznań. Human potential, location, and support from the City are some of the decisive factors in choosing Poznań as a place to do business. We are glad that the fDi Intelligence experts recognized this and have distinguished our city in such important categories - notes Katja Lozina, Director of the Investor Relations Department.
